Not only do we love Farmer Next Door because they support a more sustainable and healthy lifestyle but our long-time friend and owner of the CSA, Jill Bell, is offering Front members a discount on shares! 

Summer CSA

Begins July 10th | Runs For 8 Weeks

Did you miss out on the chance to sign up for the 12 week Summer CSA Share in June? Don’t fret! You can still get 8 weeks of fresh, locally grown foods starting on July 10th! Weekly pick up at The Front on Wednesdays from 4-7pm. Front Members enjoy special pricing of $176 for 8 weeks.

The Summer CSA Share is filled with flavorful summer classics from around the state. You will receive 7 different items a week from the following list: heirloom, sauce and slicing tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, eggplant, basil, zucchini, summer squash, peaches, pears, apples, cherries, cabbage, kale, rhubarb, cucumber, sweet corn, chard, lettuce, carrots, turnips, arugula, beets and beet greens, broccoli, potato, green beans, spinach, garlic, onion, local cheese, local eggs, and local bread.

Picture a basket filled with a head of broccoli, bunched carrots, 2 lbs of tomatoes, bunched spinach, 2 bell peppers, 2 cucumbers, and 5-6 peaches. This is approximately what your weekly CSA share would look like only with different items each week.

You are welcome to put your CSA share on hold any week by sending an email to jill@farmernextdoor.net and we will add an additional week of pick up to the end of the program.

Fall CSA

Begins September 4th | Runs For 9 Weeks

9 weeks of locally grown veggies starting on September 4th with pick up every Wednesdays at The Front Climbing Club in Salt Lake City from 4pm – 7pm.

The Fall CSA Share is the most diverse as it includes the best of late summer as well as Utah’s fall bounty. You will receive 7 different items a week from the following list: tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, eggplant, basil, zucchini, summer squash, cauliflower, leeks, apples, cabbage, kale, cucumber, sweet corn, chard, lettuce, carrots, turnips, arugula, beets and beet greens, pac choi, potato, green beans, spinach, garlic, onion, broccoli, radish, green onion, kohlrabi, braising mix, mustard greens, butternut squash, acorn squash, spaghetti squash, pie pumpkin, local cheese, local eggs, local bread.

Winter CSA

Begins November 6th | Runs For 9 Weeks

The Winter CSA Share is perfect for cozy winter nights at home cooking and entertaining friend and family over the holiday season. You will receive 7 different items a week from the following list: tomatoes, leeks, apples, cabbage, kale, chard, lettuce, carrots, turnips, radish, kohlrabi, arugula, beets, potato, spinach, garlic, onion, braising mix, mustard greens, butternut squash, acorn squash, spaghetti squash, pie pumpkin, mushrooms, popcorn, cornmeal, local cheese, local eggs, local bread.
