Farmer Next Door Fall 2018 CSA Share

Get 9 weeks of locally grown fruits and veggies starting on September 19th at The Front. Pick up your CSA share every Wednesday at the gym from 3pm – 7pm.

You will receive 7 different items a week of seasonally appropriate fruits and veggies all grown by Utah farmers! The items will be bunched, bagged, or banded as you would see them at the grocery store.

Picture a basket filled with a head of lettuce, bunched carrots, local apples, a head of broccoli, 2-3 lbs of tomatoes, bunched spinach, a loaf of locally baked bread. This is approximately what your weekly share would look like only with different items each week and each season.

With the fall share starting in early September there will still be quite a bit of warm weather produce such as tomato, zucchini, summer squash, carrots, onions, corn, eggplant, green beans, peppers, cucumbers. In early to mid October you will start to receive more cool weather crops such as winter squash, spinach, kale, beets, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, leeks, lettuce, arugula, garlic, cabbage, and turnips.

You are welcome to put your share on hold any week and we will add that delivery to the end of the program. If you would like to hold your share, please contact Jill Bell at least 24 hours in advance at jill@farmernextdoor.net.

This program is in partnership with Farmer Next Door. Check out our article about them here or head to their website to learn more!
